Due to the nature of this course, and Modular Training’s commitment to producing graduates of the highest standard, all prospective students must be able to demonstrate the following evidence for their application to be considered:

• You must be currently employed by a company where you are part of a shotfiring team; and have access to practical experience and supporting documents to assess practical competency
• You must also be able to demonstrate a minimum of 6 months’ experience as part of a shotfiring team;
• You must be at least 18 years old;
• You must have a Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC) or other state recognised security clearance
• You must have a valid Surface shotfirer licence

Please note, minimum levels of literacy, numeracy and computer literacy are required to enrol and complete the course, if unsure of your levels please contact Modular to discuss or be assessed for eligibility to enrol
Students whose enrolment has been accepted must bring the original copies of their DGSC or state issued security clearance. 

Upon receipt of your application for enrolment, Modular Training will confirm your eligibility to proceed with enrolment.

The Surface Shotfirer Refresher Short Course is conducted face to face, or via distance learning through video conferencing. Site-based courses are also available.
